I started my apprenticeship as an electrician in 1987 in the family business. My first major job was a major re fit / wire the old Ramsdells Sawmill in Nowa Nowa for Ladner’s. After that we had work re-wiring and up grading the telecom towers and adjacent buildings in the East Gippsland area. As well as still doing the maintenance for the timber industry.
In 1999 I started work for Horst Fischer as an sub-contractor wiring new commercial boats as well as re-fit work. This went on for some 15 years. Once this finished I used the skills and knowledge that I had learn to embark on a new endeavour.
I had seen too many pool pumps used for an application that they are not designed for in the commercial fishing industry.
So, in 2016 I designed and manufactured my own pump.
I was not prepared to market the pumps until I had good positive feedback. This has been achieved and I now feel confident that I have the right product that is long lasting and satisfies my customer’s needs.
The pump was originally designed for commercial fishing boats. However, being a stainless steel pump its uses are wide and varied.
Some uses for our Stainless Steel Pumps
- Pump for a commercial boat, especially in the fishing industry
- Salt water pump - it is stainless steel, so ideal
- Circulation pump
- Aquaculture pump
- Refrigeration condenser pump
- Multiple uses in both agriculture and the marine industry
I believe the main advantages of our pumps are:
- They are able to handle small solids going through the impellor without blocking up.
- Unlike most other pumps which can only work on EITHER pressure OR volume, our pump handles BOTH and is dual purpose.
- With pressure at only 18-20 psi, it is the perfect as a wash down pump.
